-Moeizame instellingen voor internetverbinding, internetradio werkt perfect na enkele avonden zoekwerk met instellingen en codes.
De music server loopt vast als ik hem wil gebruiken en een e-mail hierover aan de klantendienst bleef onbeantwoord.
-Bluetooth adaptor moet apart aangekocht worden.
-Geen echte equalizer, alleen hoge en lage tonen instelling en dat is spijtig voor een apparraat met zo een goeie geluidskwaliteit.
CONCLUSIE :
Dit product biedt een hoge kwaliteit voor zijn prijs en wie een beetje technisch onderlegd is zal hier veel plezier aan beleven.
Ik gebruik deze speler vooral om s'avonds naar rustige muziek te luisteren en vanwege de goeie geluidskwaliteit (ook bij laag volume hoor je alle instrumenten helder en duidelijk) ben ik er zeer tevreden over.
Voor jonge mensen die graag iets met veel toeters en bellen, luid en met sub-woofer hebben is dit waarschijnlijk minder geschikt.

Долго выбирал аппарат, как дополнительный. Большой и мощьный уже есть, нужен "дублер". В принципе очень доволен.. не громоздкий, но не с "плоским" звуком.. бас присутствует.. Очень удобный дисплей. WiFi штука в аппаратах до 10 тыс. руб. редкость.. Так что советую.

Très bon produit, un peu délicat à paramétrer lors de la première utilisation. Son et puissance OK pour pièce 30 m². Unité très complète quant aux différentes sources possibles. Mini chaine à recommander.

This is my second Pioneer network enabled device and again works without any issue. Seamless and fast wifi network configuration, good sound (although not amazing), nice design.
Only two remarks:
1) FM tuner doesn't support RDS info, but I understand it is not the core function for this player.
2) if there would be any way to faster navigate within network librarie (paging or even keyword search) it would ease life with large music collections.
And again to Pioneer: please give more support to new windows mobile devices.

I bought these speakers because you can log onto the internet & listen to stations from around the world.

I have managed to log via wired but have found trying to get it all connected wirelessly almost impossible as I am not very tech savvy. Instructions need to be a little clearer.

I have also found the remote control is a bit slow communicating with the speakers.

Super nöjd bland annat för att det finns en riktig antenningång 75 ohm för FM-radio, i övrigt otroligt lättanvänd.
Saknar väl CD-spelare lite grand, men dom är väl ett utdönede släkte.
men det går ju att köra från den bärbara PC:n då det finns AUX ingång

I had been looking for a hifi system that could be hooked up to wireless network and I am not disappointed. My family can play anything they want from wireless network drives/laptops/mobiles or iPods connected to the network with such ease. No more looking for the right cd or putting iPod on dock (unless not able to connect to network such as classic). The Internet radio gives you every kind of music you could ask or too. It has great sound that goes very loud. This really is the best wireless system you could ever buy

Super device per musica, sia via AIRPLAY, bluethoot con l'opzione AS-BT200, la radio via internet è eccezionale mi ha spinto a comprarlo.
Il menu però è lentissimo e ci sono diversi crash del sistema.
Ma quando funziona è veramente un buon prodotto.
Speriamo a un futuro Upgrade del firmware.
La funzione Air JAM con l'applicazione Iphone è da aggiornare, troppo basica. Sarebbe bene potere usare l'iphone come telecomando via wifi.
Per concludere buon prodotto qualità prezzo ma un aggiornamento deve assolutamente venire per la parte del menu lentissimo.

Having trawled through a lot of other options, this Pioneer came up, including various demo video's which you can find on Youtube.

For £199, you get an Internet Radio (perfect if you live in a poor reception area like me), which gives you access to 20,000 radio stations across the world!

You can also connect a USB device and play files from that. An iPod dock is provided so you can play all of the modern iPods through the system, and control them from the nifty remote control unit.

FM radio is also included, but I haven't used it, as I live in a ground floor flat, so use the Internet radio feature instead.

A neat feature is that if you have a PC or a NAS drive you can play files stored on either - it recognises all the major formats, but OGG Vorbis is about the only one it won't play.

The unit is modern in looks, and has a LED clock display, as well as a 3.5 inch LCD display which you use to navigate the system.

I have come across a few bugs with the current firmware (mine is 1.063), and they are as follows.

I am only using an N150 network at the moment, and I know it is not ideal for streaming (a Dual Band network may help, plus the fact although my NAS has a Gigabit interface, my current router only supports 10/100 networks. I have to say I love to hate this system, I know that sounds harsh, as it is a great concept, with a sound that will blow you away (it plays loud!), but I think due to the current firmware, there is a bug when selecting the source on the unit. It will memorize your last input you listened to, but as there are no direct buttons you have to go through them till you find the one you want, and sometimes my system has a habit where the LCD display will freeze completely during this operation, leaving no choice but to disconnect the mains and start again! Also, sometimes the LCD display will go white for no reason. My only other gripe is repeat playback through my NAS, but most likely caused by my N150 network), makes the system hang also.

I can live with these issues myself, but the firmware of the system needs updating, as what is the point of switching on, to listen to the radio, then switching off, coming back later to switch the system on, only to have the system hang, and having to reset it? I have another model of DLNA device from TEAC which operates more fluidly than this, so I know it is not my slow N150 network to blame entirely.

I would still recommend this system as the sound is deep and crisp, and puts any other rival system to shame.

Once the firmware issues are sorted, I will happily give it five stars for all categories!

I purchased the Pioneer X-SMC3-K a couple of weeks ago now and have been very impressed. It was bought really so I could enjoy my I-Tunes music over the AirPlay feature and this it does admirably no drop out of sound. I have not used the AirJam feature on it yet as I have not purchased the blue tooth adaptor at around £50.00 it's a little expensive.But I am sure it will work just as well.
The Internet radio is just great loads of different stations to choose from. And excellent reception from FM.
When the unit is switched on it has a full colour display and is very informative about which tracks etc are playing. It does not have a cd player but I was not bothered about this as it was bought to team up with my I-Pad 2 which it does very well. Altogether over the moon with my purchase and I would recommend it to anyone well it is Pioneer after all. Kind Regards Shaun.

This Micro System was bought primarily to work with Airplay and it does the job nice and easily. Connecting it to the network, setting it up was all very intuitive and easy. I’m impressed with quality of sound having in mind the size and price, as well as with the range of additional functionality as DLNA and Internet Radio. Although I could do with DBA instead of FM Radio, overall it has a fantastic price/performance.

Jeg kjøpte min Pioneer X-SMC3-K, fordi jeg ønsket meg et lite portabelt ipod mikrosystem, som jeg kan ta med meg overalt.
Min er faring foreløpig er att dette henger seg fra tid til annen, når jeg spiller musikk fra min iphone, stopper bare plutselig musikken opp, dette er for svakt av Pioneer. Det innebygde trådløse nettet, er også ett problem, det heger seg hele tiden og da stopper nettradion opp. Men det er bare og bruke kablet nett så er problemet løst.
Så en enkel konklusjon fra min side er att Pioneer må komme med en ny oppdatert firmware til sin X-SMC3-K.
Så ut av alle mine media fra Pioneer, så er dette mitt dårligste kjøp foreløpig. Men så har jeg bare Pioneer i stua når det er sagt.

Well it does all that it says on the label. good access to my Ipod, computer and to Internet and Radio.

The sound quality is so good that it doesn't seem possible from such a compact unit.

de X-SMC3-K is een prima toestel! Zeer vlot in gebruik, geluid is van goede kwaliteit. Veel functies zoals afspelen van een DLNA server, etc...
Enige kleine nadeel is de lange opstarttijd als je hem volledig afgezet hebt (1minuut).Als je hem in standby zet start het toestel direct op maar dan blijft het dezelfde energie verbruiken als wanneer het toestel aan zou staan.

В доме имеется сервер DLNA. Поставил в спальне. Слушаю музыку по сети и с iPhon а, избавился от стоек с СД дисками, заряжается телефон, приятный дисплей, хорошо видимая индикация времени. Крайне удобная и универсальная вещь. Качество звука, особенно на высокой громкости оставляет желать лучшего, но от столь компактной стильной системы и не стоит требовать большего. Это уже совсем другие деньги.

i use window 7 and didn;t know i had to set up home group and settings to allow the styem to work correctly. It took me a while to work it out and wasn;t mentioned in your user books.

Appart from that I like it a lot, just wish it came with Wifi speakers that would allow further sound around the room.

Hi there,

overall I'm more satisfied with this item than with similar products from competitors.
But I would have loved some more basic settings, that should be available and not predefined. e.g. it should be possible to add a different time-server (one in the local infrastructure).
Some of the items on the display are way to small to be visible from even less than 2m distance, which should not be necessary.
The wake-up functions are basically inexistent, which is a big disappointment.

I really hope, that there will be a firmware update, which takes care of such issues.
