The 2 channel PD-D6 Super Audio CD (SACD) player features AIR Studios Sound Tuning; the result is a quick response power supply circuit, where music is reproduced as near to the original as possible.

The PD-D6 features 192kHz/24bit Twin Burr Brown D/A converters and our proprietary Legato Link Conversion PRO. The Twin Burr Brown D/A Converters runs to guarantee the most subtle music detail reproduction and delivers enhanced linearity, dynamic range and distortion response.

The Legato Link PRO serves to ensure minimum phase shift across the entire audible frequency band (It uses a smoother digital filter, so that a more natural sound can be achieved).

The SACD DSD single-chip decoding of the PD-D6 reduces the digital circuitry signal path length, creating brilliant noise-free sound. An extremely stable, high performance Low-Jitter crystal oscillator circuit serves as a highly precise master clock for sound reproduction.

The PD-D6 not only handles CD and SACDs but also CD-R and CD-RW, and is compatible with MP3 and WMA compressed audio formats. The PD-D6 is equipped with an aluminium front panel, an original professional readout mechanism with smooth loading and integrates a Pure Audio listening mode. This switches off the digital circuitry and display for a clean and detailed analogue sound reproduction.
