Standby Power Consumption

Standby power consumption is said to be a major element in household power consumption.

Since 2000, we have been aiming to design all new products for standby power consumption of 1 W or less, and in 2003, the weighted average for our household AV products reached 0.33 W.

We have also pre-empted the voluntary standard of 1 W standby power consumption adopted by the home electrical industry in 2004.
