New iPod Speaker Systems now available

Colour and sound are not only attached to each other; they are also connected with feeling and self-expression. Our new iPod speaker systems have finally united colour and sound.

Each musical note, each tone has its own shade, expressing a certain mood. The XW-NAS5 and XW-NAS3 bring the musical spectrum in full colour, reproducing the sound and conveying the mood that the artist intended.

Our first iPod certified table-top sound systems have been finely tuned and calibrated to deliver optimum sound in a compact format. With a 2.1-channel digital amplifier the XW-NAS5 and XW-NAS3 guarantee precise sound reproduction and warm acoustics, while a down-firing subwoofer supplies dynamic and powerful bass.

The iPod Digital Direct Connection offers direct access to the digital music, exactly as it's stored in the iPod. Unlike most other iPod speaker systems or docks, these systems skip intermediate digital-to-analogue conversion steps to provide the purest digital quality. Their ultra-rigid construction reduces any unwanted vibration or resonance during playback. A double, sealed cabinet ensures music without interference.

Via an optional Bluetooth adapter, both units are ready for wireless reception of music files from Bluetooth enabled phones or PCs. They allow for playback while recharging a docked iPod and come with a credit card-sized remote that is easy to control, leaving the user in full command.

The new sound systems employ component and composite video output for playback of video from the docked iPod. For the finely tuned ear, the XW-NAS5 also features our proprietary sound enhancement features, including Advanced Sound Retriever, developed specifically to improve the listening experience of compressed music, and Auto Level Control.

Pre-installed in the XW-NAS5 is a selection of “soundscape” tracks, which can also be mixed within music. The listener can enjoy the ambiance of a tropical beach, immerse himself in street sounds, hear the waves rolling, experience the sound of a forest stream, walk through a high meadow in fall or get nostalgic with old school vinyl. Completing the XW-NAS5 is an FM radio and LED alarm clock with snooze, wake-up and sleep function.

Available in four quality metallic-finish colours, the well-designed XW-NAS5 will set the tone in every room of the house. Sleek silver for a modern home office, crisp white to match the kitchen cabinets, juicy red for the children’s playroom or stylish black for the contemporary living room. With white becoming increasingly popular as the colour for consumer electronics products, the XW-NAS3 is available in the purest shade of white.

Not only the colours are striking, the silhouette of these devices is equally eye-catching. With their characteristically shell-shaped housing and 360 degree design the systems are sure to make a design statement.
