Pioneer expands headphone line-up with new inner ear models for smartphones

Pioneer is pleased to announce the launch of three types of inner-ear headphones, designed for use with smartphones and other mobile devices. The new headphones provide an excellent fit and offer high sound quality at a reasonable price, leveraging the technologies and expertise Pioneer has cultivated as an audio manufacturer.

The new headphone models include the SE-CL522, SE-CL501 and SE-CL501T. The small and lightweight SE-CL522 earphones are designed for optimal comfort. They adopt a “ceramic powder coated trembler” usually found in high-end equipment, which results in excellent sound quality by reducing unnecessary internal oscillation. The SE-CL501 and SE-CL501T models combine powerful bass with a secure fit. The SE-CL501T adds an inline microphone and remote for easy control and one-touch calls from different iPhone and Android smartphones. All three types are available in an array of vibrant colours to suit various styles and tastes.

• Compact and lightweight to guarantee a comfortable, snug fit

• A CCAW voice coil ensures clear playback, while a 9.4mm driver unit equipped with a strong rare earth magnet delivers powerful bass.
• An angled nozzle and bullet shaped ear-tip result in excellent sound quality, improved noise isolation and a stable fit
• A selection of four fashionable colour variations to suit any style or taste
• Accessories include earphone tips in four different sizes and a cord adjuster to regulate cord length

Key features of SE-CL501/SE-CL501T

• The adoption of an enclosed design reduces sound leakage and provides powerful bass.
• Equipped with an in-line microphone and remote, the SE-CL501T makes it easy to answer and end a phone call.
• The glossy SE-CL501 is available in seven trendy colours, while the SE-CL501T comes in two classy colour variations
• Three types of ear tips are included to ensure a secure fit.
