Pioneer expands Bass Head headphones line-up with new extreme sports and affordable headband models

Pioneer Europe introduces two new BASS HEAD headphone models that faithfully reproduce the heavy bass of club sound, making use of the technology and know-how Pioneer has cultivated through producing DJ headphones. The new SE-E721 extreme sports headphones feature a new type of ear clip that goes around the ear to provide a secure fit even during the most intense workouts, as well as a nozzle that maintains an excellent fit thanks to the world’s first¹ “Active Fit” function (patent pending). The second new addition to Pioneer’s BASS HEAD series line-up is the budget-friendly SE MJ711 headband model aimed at club-going youngsters looking to make a statement in the club scene and beyond.

SE-E721
The SE-E721 ear-clip headphones –available in four colour variations– feature a revolutionary “Active Fit” function (patent pending), which introduces a ball joint connecting the hanger parts to the canal-type inner parts. The ball joint changes the angle of the nozzle to suit the ear shape and earhole angle of the user, resulting in an excellent fit, even during intense movements. In addition to stable mounting with the hanger parts, the canal-type inner parts snugly fit into the user’s earholes, increasing mounting stability and reducing the burden on the ears. An improved enclosure further adds to the deep bass sound this headphone produces. By incorporating high performance 9mm speaker units using strong rare earth magnets, the headphones deliver a balanced and powerful listening experience.

As well as delivering powerful dance beat playback, the SE-E721 comes with a set of features tailored to active people such as a new type of ear clip that goes around the ear to ensure that the headphones stay securely in place even during the most intense movements. The hanger parts are constructed with resin core materials coated with soft elastomer, providing springiness and excellent ear contact together as well as great comfort and hold. Dual coiled cords that offer more flexibility can be tied at the back of the neck for added convenience. The headphones have a sweat-proof design with an IPX2-rated² moisture protection grade. Accessories include earphone tips in four sizes, a tangle-free slider and colour coded housing for easy left and right identification.

SE-MJ711
The 2^nd new model in the BASS HEAD line-up is the compact SE-MJ711 outdoor headphone that combines large high-performance 40mm driver units with rare-earth magnets to reproduce excellent bass response. It features a wide headband for excellent comfort and comes equipped with a single-sided 1.2m cord to prevent tangling. Available with black, white, blue and red earcups, this headphone will definitely be noticed on the streets.

Availability
