With interest from users and professional installers in HD video growing, we're cutting the cost of our 1080p professional Blu-ray Disc player, the BDP-V6000, to a lower SRP of 700 euros excluding VAT. This is the most competitive price available for a high-end professional Blu-ray system.

The immediately available BDP-V6000 is designed for the unique requirements of professional video users across museums, digital signage, art galleries, offices, retail outlets, lecture theatres, and broadcast studios and location vehicles. It delivers stunning picture performance and versatile control to enable teams to affordably manage video installations across multiple locations.

Key features of the BDP-V6000 are:

  • Network connectivity: With RS-232C, the BDP-V6000 can be integrated simply within video control systems to remotely schedule and control operation. The player can be safely located away from public areas and be connected to automated touch-screen systems enabling your customers to interact with your content – for example in museums, visitor centres and similar applications.
  • Additional features requested by installers: The player includes a range of smart features requested by video installers. These include Power-On Start to turn the player on simultaneously (e.g. when the power comes on in an area), a Front Key and Tray Lock, and changeable baud rate settings. Also, no OSD is displayed over the playing content. Furthermore, the system does not display a Pioneer logo during start-up or screen saver mode, which is advantageous to installers who do not wish to include any branding on video installations.
  • Adding content: The BDP-V6000 integrates BD Live; 1GB of memory allows new video content such as interactive features to be downloaded through the Ethernet connection without having to remaster a Blu-ray disc, for instance, within digital signage or point of sale applications. A USB port allows extra storage capacity to be added for BD Live content.
