We are delighted to take part in the 50th edition of the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), the world’s largest Consumer Electronics trade show, taking place September 3 to 8 in Berlin.
IFA is ‘where the world celebrates product premieres’, making it the venue par excellence for us to exhibit our recently renamed KODO series of digital speaker systems for iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch line-up.
At IFA, leading consumer electronics and home appliances manufacturers present their latest products and innovations, ranging from large flat screens to the tiniest TV mobile phones, from mobile media players to complete home cinema systems.
In Hall 1.2, Booth 101, Pioneer will be showcasing the latest additions to its product line-up, engaging visitors to feel the vibes and share the passion.
We strive to provide superior sound quality that faithfully reproduces the original source. Today’s challenge is to unify our rich audio expertise and the latest in digital technologies, while upholding the same high acoustic standards. Meeting those requirements is our new KODO line-up of top-quality digital speaker systems that touch a wide range of design conscious consumers. After careful consideration these systems were endowed with the name KODO, meaning heartbeat in Japanese.
Different genres, different styles, different cultures – music is as varied as the people who create it and enjoy it. Yet all forms of music share the same DNA: rhythm is the foundation of every musical expression. KODO is the Japanese word for heartbeat, the primal source of rhythm.
Designed in synch with the beat of life, the compact KODO digital speaker systems offer the audio excellence of Pioneer coupled with seamless, trouble-free iPhone and iPod touch integration. They aim to set the mood and enhance your lifestyle through music.
After showing our KODO XW-NAS5 and XW-NAS3 systems on last year’s IFA, we will now also exhibit three new multifunctional KODO systems that unite refreshing design and innovative features. KODO XW-NAC3 and XW-NAC1 come equipped with two docking stations for iPhone or iPod touch, featuring a “SHUFFLE2” function for mixed playback from both docked devices.
The third new model in the line-up, the stylishly designed KODO XW-NAV1 AV system, opens up a world of entertainment options. On one hand it’s a DVD player with 1080p HDMI upscaling, on the other hand it’s a multimedia machine that fulfils virtually every wish – from iPhone and iPod touch compatibility to FM radio and USB connectivity.
The other stars on our stage will be our latest top-quality receivers, Blu-ray disc players, Blu-ray and DVD home cinema systems and headphones. We will also be demonstrating our free iControlAV app, which turns a compatible iPhone or iPod touch into a fully functioning remote.
Within a dedicated car area, we will be exhibiting our promising range of car products, offering advanced navigation and multimedia capabilities, highly superior audio quality and impeccable designs. The highlights will be our new NavGate devices, AVH multimedia stations, MVH digital media centres and speaker line-up.
DJ enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to experience our most powerful performance mixer to date, latest digital decks and new generation multi-format players.
IFA 2010 will provide a great opportunity for consumers, dealers and press to discover Pioneer’s newest products and innovations such as these, designed for living the digital lifestyle.
