In April and May, we will introduce six new NavGate systems, that mix unsurpassed navigation guidance with Bluetooth wireless technology and a host of multimedia capabilities.
More than basic navigation units, these models enhance in-car travel with various communication and entertainment possibilities. The new NavGate line-up is easy to use, fits smoothly in all types of cars and can be customised to suit the your personal taste.

At heart, NavGate is about fast and precise in-car navigation. The new units offer a comprehensive, preinstalled map database from Tele Atlas covering 44 European countries and featuring millions of destinations and Points of Interest (POIs). Navigation is stress-free thanks to easy address input and fast route calculation.
To avoid any unwelcome surprises, all 2010 models come with a Traffic Message Channel (TMC) receiver that will inform you about traffic jams and incidents on your route.
Offering a range of interesting features, our proprietary NavGate Feeds PC and smartphone software has made navigation customisable.
It enables your to find your own POIs from a range of sources, such as Google Maps mapping service, internet POI sites and geotagged images, and add them to your system’s maps using an SD card, USB device or Bluetooth.
The ECO Driving function provides driving status reports and visualises your impact on the environment.Thanks to NavGate Feeds, the units can estimate the fuel cost of trip routes as well as the vehicle’s CO2 emissions through detailed Drive Reports.
The application can also analyse driving habits over a period of time to give suggestions on how to be more economic with fuel.
Our high-end navigation solutions
Making use of a WVGA high resolution display, the new revolutionary AV user interface of these high-end NavGate systems has been designed to transform the way music and videos are controlled in the car.
Operated by the unit’s touch screen, its advanced features include dynamic shortcuts to access sources menus and lists of files, interactive 3D animation during operation and exclusive Slide Touch control to quickly select new songs and videos simply by dragging a finger over the screen.
The AVIC-F20BT, AVIC-F920BT, AVIC-F9210BT and AVIC-F9220BT all benefit from MusicSphere technology, our brand new software application for iTunes. It will automatically analyse and profile your iTunes library to create mood-based playlists that can be transferred to your iPod or iPhone.
Once the iPod or iPhone has been connected to the NavGate system, the MusicSphere playlists can be accessed through an interactive 3D sphere which can be rotated up, down, left and right with a slight touch of the screen.
The AVIC-F20BT
The most advanced NavGate system to date, the AVIC-F20BT, is the ideal match to explore Europe with fast and ultra-precise 2D and 3D navigation. The unit incorporates first-rate audio components that result in music with exceptional detail, whereas a superior 7-inch (17.8 cm) motorized touch screen provides the ultimate in-car video enjoyment.
With a built-in Parrot Bluetooth module you will benefit from wireless telephony and music streaming, using voice recognition to search for addresses and switch between audio sources.
The AVIC-F920BT
Offering a complete range of navigation, communication and entertainment possibilities, the all-in-one AVIC-F920BT is the perfect on-road assistant.
With highly accurate navigation route guidance, up-to-date traffic information, built-in Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free telephony and music streaming and a host of AV playback possibilities, including direct control of iPod, iPhone and files from SD and USB this high-end NavGate system completely takes the stress away from travelling on the road.
Custom-fit solutions: the AVIC-F9210BT and AVIC-F9220BT
Our 2010 NavGate line-up includes a range of custom-fit solutions, built for specific car brands – derived from the AVIC-F920BT. Designed to perfectly match the shape, colour and texture of a car’s dashboard, these units will have the appearance of an OEM* unit while having all of the added benefits that NavGate brings.
The AVIC-F9210BT (available in June) is custom built for Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat cars while the AVIC-F9220BT integrates perfectly in Ford cars.

Premium entry-level car navigation
For those looking to make their first upgrade to an all-in-one navigation and entertainment system, the AVIC-F320BT is the ideal system.
The AVIC-F320BT
This 2-DIN NavGate device gives advanced 2D and 3D navigation, connection to portable audio sources and Bluetooth hands-free telephony.
Its clever design emphasises intuitive, user-friendly control, while its 4.3-inch touch screen can be easily detached and taken inside overnight.
The AVIC-F320BT allows video and photo playback via SD using NavGate Apps, our downloadable set of applications. There’s also a wide selection of clock displays that can serve as background visual.
As a finishing touch, the button illumination colour can be customised to perfectly match the colour of any dashboard illumination, using the NavGate Feeds PC application.
Custom-fit solution: the AVIC-3210BT
Custom-fit for Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat cars, the AVIC-F3210BT will come with the same features as the AVIC-F320BT, but offers additional convenience by integrating a source tray to store an iPod, USB stick or other portable audio device while it’s connected.
The AVIC-F320BT and 3210BT will be available in June.
