Perfect symmetry

The amplifiers’ Twin Mono Symmetrical Construction prevents signal interference by separating the left and right channels, which results in pure sound with an extensive
sound field.

Their Direct Construction allows the shortest and simplest design paths – from input to output, circuit block by circuit block – to reduce distortion that can be caused by transmission loss, as well as to improve sonic clarity.

Absolute stability

The A-A9MK2 benefits from a honeycomb-pressed, rigid underbase construction, resulting in stable bass reproduction. An aluminium housing with metal feet reduces resonance to an absolute minimum and eliminates ground potential differences.

The resonance point of the bonnet is fixed to the chassis. As a result, natural oscillation of the unit is reduced to an absolute minimum.

High-end clarity

Both amplifiers benefit from gold-plated speaker terminals, which support low impedance and provide better sound quality.

Quick response,
low noise

To achieve clean-cut sound, the non-feedback power supply circuit is combined with a Low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) capacitor.

The rectifier circuit features Schottky barrier diodes, creating a quick response with low noise, for sound that is smoother and more powerful.

LAPTs for
Power Output

The output stage of the power amplifier uses the LAPT (Linear Amplified Power Transistor), which holds 76 micro transistors on
a single chip.

The excellent high-frequency characteristics of these transistors create superb linearity – even during the longest and most dynamic passages.

High power transformers

Adding to the power of each amplifier are Twin Toroidal Transformers (EI Transformers for the A-A6MK2) that minimise leakage flux and enable an efficient energy supply.
