About Deep Colour

‘Deep Colour’ describes how an image is represented using a large number of shades, hues and luminosities. The more colours your TV screen is able to show, the truer the picture quality is to the original. All our receivers support 48-bit Deep Colour – currently the highest possible colour palette – making them ready for future compatible screens.

About x.v. Colour

‘x.v.Colour’ is a colour space that supports a gamut (or colour palette) that is 1.8 times larger than that of the standard RGB colour space that we are used to seeing on televisions. The result is that – on a compatible screen - you see greens, reds and blues far deeper than previously possible.

Made for each other

Complete your HD home cinema with one of our Blu-ray Disc players. Matching perfectly, both systems work together to deliver breathtaking 1080p resolution, at 24 frames per second – exactly how the film was made.

When connected to a compatible Pioneer Blu-ray player, the receiver uses our unique PQLS Multi-Surround technology for a ‘jitterless’ transmission, resulting in strikingly clear and focussed sound.

Jitter refers to the timing inaccuracies that cause audio distortion at the final digital-to-analogue conversion step in the AV receiver. Our receivers master the art of removing jitter, making the perfect partnership with our Blu-ray Disc players.
