PAL/NTSC recording

With PAL/NTSC Dual Recording, you can record either PAL or NTSC format onto DVD discs.

PAL, short for Phase Alternating Line, is a colour encoding system used in broadcast television systems in large parts of the world.

NTSC is the analog television system generalled used in Canada, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, the United States, Mexico, and some other countries. It is named for the National Television Standards Committee, the U.S. standardization body that adopted it.
