Slim CD/DVD Micro System Made for iPod/iPhone (Black)

Worst music equipment ever purchased. Been trying to contact Pioneer but no response. Surprise ! Build quality so poor, joints on speakers could cut young fingers. Radio is a joke, stations are lost within the hour. EVERY cd I play jumps and only 1 in 3 have finished playing ! Sound is below average, the surround sound is poor, seeming to come out of one speaker and with a tinny, cheap sound overall. The display is from the 80's surely ? I didn't get round to playing this contraption until a few days before 30 days were up, now it seems i am stuck with this useless article. I would not recommend anyone buys this. Can Pioneer help...? Would be good if they were contactable.

I bought this product wanting something a bit more compact that out previous Hi-Fi setup. This unit covers that requirement very well. Another advantage was the ability to be able to use the USB connection for memory sticks etc and the i-Pod dock.
Although the sound quality is not so good as our previous unit, within the price range of this unit, it is the best I came across.
Altogether, an excellent buy.

He hecho una compra fantástico, es versátil, parametrizable y muy fácil de usar. Me hubiera gustado disponer de la opción Airplay, pero en mi opinión, la diferencia de precio con el X-SMC5 no justificaba la inversión, bastante mayor en este caso.

Je cherchais une radio/lecteur de CD/DVD de ligne moderne, peu encombrante et qui s'intègre bien dans mon intérieur : je l'ai trouvée à un prix raisonnable chez Pioneer avec ce modèle X-SMC1-K

The first model I purchased was faulty and caused me considerable problems. I did complain but received a rather weak standard reply from Currys suggesting your company never made mistakes. I complained about the original reply but received a second reply with the same answer.

Plusy: bardzo dobra jakość dźwięku i wideo, małe rozmiary, duża moc, opcja Bluetooth.
Minusy: brak funkcji RDS, mało czytelna i mało zrozumiała informacja wyświetlacza na przedniej paneli wierzy.
Funkcja i-Pod/Fon dla mnie jest nie użyteczna. Mam HTC Sensation XL i nie mam zamiaru kupowania i-Podu/Fonu.

I tested three broadly similar systems in store using music on a pen data stick. This one had the best sound quality.
I do not have an i-phone of any sort so the bluetooth facility is of little use (It needs a further £40 component anyway).
The USB/MP3 and other functions all work well.

A very convenient and portable sound system. I particularly like the facility to play music through the USB socket and the iPod/iPhone socket as well as the standard CD Slot.

The only downside is the Universal Dock for an iPod which is not supplied with the unit.

Мне нужна была компактная микросистема, обязательно чёрного цвета. Сравнивал будущую покупку с другими производителями по характеристикам, немного послушал те, другие. Сделал для себя вывод, что соотношение цена/качество более чем приемлемо. Порадовала громкость.
В магазине, в котором покупал систему, не было адаптера BlueTooth. Пока что не приобрел его, но сделаю это очень скоро.
Для воспроизведения видео с Айфона/Айпода на телевизор нужен линейный вход, а у меня на телевизоре только HDMI.
Из минусов - система не воспринимает тэги на русском языке, нет жк-дисплея как на X-SMC5-K, неудобно воспроизводить музыку с USB-носителей.
В целом, меня всё устраивает.

Absolutely thrilled with this bit of equipment. Bought another brand name and within two days had to get a refund as it kept switching itself off.
Not usually so enthusiastic about reviews and never give a full mark of approval, but this Pioneer is worth every penny we spent on it.
It is on from early morning till late evening and my dogs love it!

Agréablement surpris par le nombre de fonctionnalités, je regrette cependant que :
- La sélection des fonctions n'est pas pratique, il faut dérouler chaque fonction avant de trouver celle souhaitée,
- Pour le fonction Bluetooth, il est impératif d'acquérir en sus une clé spécifique fort coûteuse,
BAC+5 sont nécessaires pour dominer la bête, surtout si l'on a pas compris qu'un temps d'attente est nécessaire pour chque programmation !
- Le pompon ? Impossible de trouver une clé USB qui soit reconnue par l'équipement. Pioneer n'a pas été en mesure de me répondre et m'a dirigé vers des réparateurs qui n'ont pas non plus été en mesure de me renseigner ! Ceci est regrettable et indigne d'une entreprise telle que Pioneer.

I bought this unit because I wanted a good quality, smallish and reasonably priced CD/radio stereo.
pro's; nice design, well made and good sound quality.

con's; most fine tuning control for sound is accessed only via TV; disc loading is very slow; no DAB radio.

Bien que je n'ai pas encore pu tester toutes les fonctionnalités de cet appareil, l'écoute des cd et du tuner sont très convaincants.
Je regrette l'affichage minimum des fréquences radio, la lecture sur clé usb uniquement du format mp3 (ma discothèque itune n'est pas reconnue).
Faire également attention pour la lecture des cd/dvd à la lenteur de l'appareil qui, si on y prend pas garde, on a tendance à vouloir pousser sur les cd pour les faire rentrer, et c'est évidement ce qu'il ne faut pas faire!
Ca reste tout de même un très bon produit, à utiliser et à recommander sans modération.

Comprei este produto porque estava à procura de uma docking station para o meu iPod e este foi o melhor que encontrei dentro das minhas possíbilidades, pois é muito mais complecto do que os outros.
