The DV-490V-S has an
HDMI output, which ensures a fully digital transfer of high resolution video and audio – with just a
single cable. If you connect your DVD player to an HDMI-compatible TV, the signals are always played back in the best possible quality.
This player has
Virtual Surround functionality, which enables CDs or DVDs to be played back in what sounds like full surround sound - a "virtual" home cinema system in your DVD player.
If you
download films, simply burn them on to a disc and enjoy them in full size with
DivX. Moreover you can
play back music on CD-R/RW in MP3 format, WMA files and your
digital photos with the JPEG photo viewer.
