This 50" HD plasma display panel is STILL the absolute pinnacle of plasma technology more than 3 years since it's first release.

It stands head and shoulders above all other current offerings in every key area regarding pure picture quality.

In MY opinion it wants for nothing but the "bell and whistle" crowd will bemoan the lack of 3D capability.

Maybe 3D was marketed so people are too distracted to notice the INFERIOR 2D picture quality on all "NON PIONEER" displays.

Sadly all that seems to matter these days is "how cheap" the thing is.

Yes the PIONEER KRP 500M was expensive but what a panel!!!

I would do it again in a heartbeat but, so far, I don't have to.
