I bought my Pioneer SC LX 90 to replace my VX A10i. The ability to decode all the high definition sound formats, the match to my BDP LX 91, the bi-amping for the front loudspeakers and the retention of the firewire link, allowing me to continue to connect my DV 868 AVi for digital SACD playback (a facility that the original What Hi Fi LX 90 review said was not available) all influenced my decision to update and upgrade. I am very pleased with this magnificent amplifier.
