We have discovered an issue with the “CyberLink BD Solution” software installation CD-ROM discs (P/N: 1015497) that are bundled with the following Pioneer computer drive models:

• BDR-202
• BDR-202BK

The issue itself is caused by an incorrect software build, whereby the application “Power2Go” will not support writing to Blu-ray Disc. When selecting to create a new Blu-ray Disc project, a message will appear offering the user the possibility to upgrade to “Power2Go Deluxe” in order to support writing to Blu-ray Disc:

To address this issue, a correction has been made in the latest version of the CyberLink BD Solution CD-ROM discs so that Power2Go will not ask to upgrade to Power2Go Deluxe in order to support writing to Blu-ray Disc.

Pioneer anticipates that only a minimal amount of users will experience the issue, but for those who are affected we can offer an immediate fix by means of a downloadable patch that will enable Blu-ray writing functionality in Power2Go.

If you are not experiencing the issues described above, then there is no need to take any action.

You will need to exit/close Power2Go before applying this patch.

Alternatively, you can download and install the complete build found below, which will overwrite and correct any previous installation of the CyberLink BD Solution.

When prompted, please enter the CD-Key that is attached to the paper sleeve of your original CyberLink BD Solution installation disc.
