Our Pure Audio Component Series represents the very best in audio reproduction. The very best in both form and function; high-grade components that work to give you a pure, unadulterated sound.
Each component in the series, whether an amplifier, radio tuner or SACD player, shares the signature curved left-side aluminum front panel, as well as a discreet LCD display (that may also be turned off or dimmed, if required).
The 2-channel PD-D9-J features AIR Studio’s tuning: a benchmark of high fidelity sound. AIR Studio’s tuning ensures that the internal response circuit is quick, and music is reproduced as near to the original as possible.
The player features a special quadruple-layered chassis; the front, top and side panels are made of aluminum. The PD-D9-J also has a rigid underbase construction, offering an extremely high internal stability. This means that the audio you here is virtually interference and noise-free.
This benefit is further enhanced by the extremely rigid TAOC feet that isolate the player from vibration on virtually any surface.
The PD-D9-J relies on two Wolfson 192 kHz/24-bit high-performance digital-to-analogue converters that operate in parallel. Their high sampling rates eliminate timing jitter and provide masterful sound quality.
The PD-D9-J will play both your CD and SACD discs, as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs; and is also compatible with MP3 and WMA compressed audio formats.
The player integrates a Pure Audio listening mode, which switches off the digital circuitry and display for a clean and detailed analogue sound reproduction.
