New car media receivers: connect to just about anything.

Two new digital media receivers, the MVH-8200 and MVH-8200BT, are due for European-wide release in February.

These versatile multimedia centres enhance your driving experience through innovative integration of USB and SD Card slots - both with music and video playback - iPod video, Bluetooth, and more.

Both products are the debut offerings in a new category of in-dash receivers designed with digital media playback from iPods, USB storage devices and SD memory cards as the primary sources.

The MVH-P8200 and MVH-P8200BT are single DIN receivers that come with a built-in 3-inch screen as the digital interface for audio and video capabilities.

Our 7-way rotary commander makes track selection quick and easy, while a new on-screen display gives full access to all the playlists, album art, videos and more on a connected iPod or iPhone.

Both units offer playback of MP3, WMA and iTunes AAC music files via USB and SD memory card. The USB port is located directly on the front panel of the receivers and the SD card slot is positioned discreetly behind the partially detachable front panel.


To enhance your listening experience, particularly for compressed digital formats, our patented Advanced Sound Retriever (ASR) technology helps to restore the musical details lost when compressed music files are created.

The inclusion of an 8-band graphic equalizer provides the ability to adjust the sound of the system to suit the vehicle and listener, while dedicated hi-volt (4 V) pre-amp outputs for front, rear, and subwoofer add to the overall system building flexibility.

For additional connectivity and convenience, the step-up MVH-P8200BT integrates a Parrot Bluetooth module. When paired with a compatible Bluetooth cell phone, you can enjoy safe, hands-free communications enabling you to hear the conversation through the vehicle’s speakers while your voice is broadcast through the included microphone.
