Claim your BBC Blu-ray Titles when you purchase a Blu-ray Player - Terms & Conditions

1. The Promotion: entitles the participant to a complimentary Blu Ray item upon the purchase of either of the following Pioneer products;
• BDP-120 for Planet Earth box set,
• BDP-320 for Planet Earth box set and 1 series from either Nature’s Great Events, Earth: The Power of the Planet, Yellowstone or South Pacific,
• BCS-FS500 for Planet Earth box set and 1 series from either Nature’s Great Events, Earth: The Power of the Planet, Yellowstone or South Pacific,
• BDP-LX52 for Life and 3 series from either Nature’s Great Events, Earth: The Power of the Planet, Yellowstone or South Pacific,
• BDP-LX91 for Planet Earth, Life, Nature’s Great Events, Earth: The Power of the Planet, Yellowstone and South Pacific from Pioneer participating authorised dealers between 9th November 2009 and 31st January 2010.

2. Participants: must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK. Only one application per household can be used for this promotion.

3. Start Date: Monday 9th November 2009.

4. Closing Date: the closing date to purchase either of the aforementioned products and get a complimentary Blu-Ray item is 31st January 2010 whilst stocks last. The Promoter must receive all registrations by no later than 28th February 2010.

5. How to qualify: A Pioneer product as listed above has to be purchased in store from a Pioneer participating authorised dealer from 9th November 2009 – 31st January 2010. For a list of Pioneer’s participating authorised dealers please visit www.pioneer.co.uk/bbcearth (Or telephone Pioneer’s customer relations department 0330 123 1240 / 0870 600 1539 during office hours Mon-Fri). This promotion is valid for in store purchases only.

Participants must obtain a Blu-Ray registration card at point of purchase from the participating dealer detailing how to claim. This card must be stamped and signed by the dealer. This card details how consumers must register their purchase online at www.pioneer.co.uk/bbcearth For consumers unable to access the internet other modes of contact are detailed on the card. The online registration form will require basic details such as type of product purchased, serial numbers of product together with the consumers contact details. Once the easy online registration is complete consumers will be issued with a registration number. This number needs to be written on the registration card and placed together with the till receipt in an envelope and sent to the Promoter ‘Pioneer BBC Blu-ray Promotion, c/o 1 High Street, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, SL9 9QE’ Photocopies of the original receipt will be accepted. Proof of purchase to clearly show the date of purchase, details of the dealer, and the product purchased. Pioneer is not obligated to return original purchase receipts. The consumer should also retain a copy of the till receipt. We will endeavour to process claims and dispatch the complimentary BBC Blu-ray Disc(s) within 30 days from receipt of completed claim forms. However please note that Pioneer cannot and does not provide any guarantee that participants will receive their promotional item within this time period.

6. Responsibility: to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) Pioneer and their agents assume no responsibility and are not liable for the availability, loss, late receipt of the product notification or any other communication, fees, charges or other costs which participants may be required to pay at any time in connection with this promotion or any other factors outside the reasonable control of Pioneer or its agents.

It is the participants responsibility to provide a suitable delivery address as complimentary items will be delivered by courier and must be signed for. The items will be delivered on a week day between 9am and 5pm (no deliveries will be made at weekends). After the first attempted delivery the participant must contact the courier company to arrange re-delivery or collection from the local depot. If items are returned to sender then the participant will be responsible for covering the costs of recovering the item.

7. General: all instructions relating to this promotion form part of the terms and conditions. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Pioneer promotion with the exception of the Pioneer AVBD iPod Promotion which started on 1st October 2009 and closes on 31st December 2009. Pioneer’s decision in the exercise or interpretation of any rights or discretion in connection with these terms and conditions shall be final and binding. By participating, participants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and to their interpretation under English law.

There are no cash alternatives to this promotion. All products, including the Blu-Ray items offered are subject to availability. Pioneer may in its absolute discretion substitute or offer an alternative item of equal or greater value. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

The purchase of any of the aforementioned products and then returned to the dealer without due legal reason would invalidate the offer of the Blu-Ray item.

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Pioneer promotion, except the AV Receiver and Blu-ray Player combination promotion which is taking place at www.pioneer.co.uk/avbd.

8. Data Privacy: The data supplied by Participants will be used by the Promoter and/or its agents for the purpose of processing the promotion and fulfilling the obligations of the Promoter. Participants may be contacted in the future about the Promoters new products and services available from the Promoter. Participants who do want this to occur should tick the box specified.
