How do I stop losing my channel presets or sound settings when the car stereo is switched off?

In most instances, this is caused by an incorrect cable connection. Check that your rear cables are properly connected:

• Yellow : has to be connected to the battery for constant battery voltage(12V)
• Red : has to be connected to the ignition switch of your car (however, please check your car stereo user manual as for certain cars like Volkswage and Opel, these cables are inverted).
