The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has recognised Pioneer Europe NV's development of in-car stereo technology by honouring Pioneer with the "European Mobile Electronics Innovation of the Year 2002-2003" EISA Award for its DEH-P900HDD car stereo, the first ever in-car hard-disk music player.
