The SC-LX82 realises true simultaneous multi-channel high power output, incorporating ICEpower analogue class D amplification and our legacy sound-tuning collaboration with AIR Studios. The additional THX Ultra2 Plus certification makes the SC-LX82 is the perfect home cinema receiver.
This receiver includes our exclusive Advanced MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration) system. At the touch of a button, it will measure and analyse the reverb characteristics of your speakers and optimally tune the sound output to your setup.
When connected to a BDP-LX52 Blu-ray player via HDMI, the player and receiver use a unique PQLS Multi-Surround technology for a jitterless transmission, ensuring optimum audio quality: a near perfect reproduction of sound.
Full Band Phase Control eliminates bass phasing problems to improve multi-channel sound fields and corrects phase irregularities.
A Sampling Rate Converter ‘up-samples’ all digital signals to 192 kHz to improve sound staging, low level detail and the purity of high frequencies.
Five HDMI inputs let you connect your high-definition AV sources and switch between them easily.
The SC-LX82 has a LAN interface and is DLNA certified, which allows you to enjoy internet radio and access content from your home media network.
Plug and play your iPod or iPhone directly (a cable is included; no dock is necessary). The audio connection is digital, which guarantees transfer without intermediate digital-to-analogue, analogue-to-digital conversions; what you hear is pure.
The receiver has an intuitive and fresh-looking GUI (Graphical User Interface), giving you quick and easy access to the functions you need.
