The LX50 completes your high definition home network. With built-in Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD Master Audio codecs, you are guaranteed pure, “lossless” quality audio.
With THX Select2 certification, you can expect the best possible sound reproduction using 7 channels, whether you’re watching, listening or playing.
The LX50 gives you Standing Wave and Phase Control, ensuring that the sound output is pure, precise and as perfect as possible. Standing Wave Control reduces the standing audio waves in your room, giving reproduction of low frequencies, truer than ever. Phase Control minimises any phase mismatching, calibrating the delay and aligning the phase precisely, to match it for all channels and achieve advanced levels of sonic purity.
Optimised audio, suited to your home
The LX50 includes our unique 9-band Advanced MCACC system, which stands for Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration.
At the touch of a button, the MCACC will not only calibrate and optimise the sound output for your home environment, but also neutralise the effects of reverberation. Precision tuning of your home entertainment system with minimum effort.
The LX50 is fully ready for iPod; both audio, photo and video. All that you need to do is connect and play.
You can also connect a USB memory stick to the front of the amplifier and listen to compressed audio files; the system will automatically enhance and virtually restore rich sound (this is because of our unique Sound Retriever technology).
Flexible speaker placement
The LX50 includes a ‘Front Stage Surround Advance’ feature. What this means is that you have the option to place your speakers in the traditional 5.1 surround setting around your living room, or alternatively place them alongside your television.
This is ideal if you have limited space, or don’t necessarily want an “invasion” of electronics equipment around the room.
One remote control for them all
Included with the LX50 is a preset and learning LCD remote control, which can be programmed to control other remote devices in your home. This means you can have one remote control for most of the devices in your living room.
